Stiletto pump with cute bowknot on upper

For the most part, I tend to stick with solids for my clothes but when I find a really fun print, I can’t resist buying it. Pretty colors always draw me in, which was the case for this watercolor dress. I loved the swirls of blue, pink, and purple and I’d been eyeing it for months. I finally pulled the trigger after our Paris vacation- the print reminded me of all of the impressionist paintings we saw on our trip. As such, I’ve affectionately named this my “Monet dress” and it makes me happy every time I wear it. And this stiletto pump with cute bowknot fits the dress well. 

The brand refers to this as the Aurora print, which is almost as fun as the Monet dress. It does remind me a lot of Sleeping Beauty’s dress after her fairy godmothers fight over what color it should be. “Make it blue! No, make it pink!”

Either way, whether it makes me think of impressionist painters or a Disney movie, it’s currently one of my favorite dresses in my closet. I just love the vibrant colors- they just seem so cheery and happy. I wore this dress with some new pink bow heels . I don’t typically like pointed heels but I love how these look with those giant bows plopped on top! The pale pink color is so pretty and the bows, toes, and heels are trimmed with metallic rose gold. How fun is that?

I added a denim jacket on top of this watercolor dress. I bought this jacket specifically for our Paris trip and I’ve been wearing it nonstop ever since. I had a denim jacket in high school that I absolutely loved, and now I remember why! It goes with everything and I love how it makes every outfit instantly look a bit cooler.
